UL/LSU Baseball Ticket info

Hey guys, just thought I'd give you all a heads up about the game on Feb. 25th and ticket options.

I went to LSU's main website last night to see ticket availability, all they have are single seats available in random places and Standing Room Only tickets available, which I had for the regional last year for 1 game and it kinda sucked cause the places to stand aren't that great.

So then I checked on StubHub and the cheapest tickets are going for $35-$40 a pop with some of the better seats going for $100 or more.

Well the last place I checked is clearly the best and I highly recommend to everyone.... Go to the LSU Ticket Marketplace. It's a ticket exchange program set up for season ticket holders to get rid of tickets at face value only, no scalping like StubHub. Last night I bought 2 seats together in section 220 behind the Cajuns dugout on the 3rd base line for a total of $20 with a $5 service fee, came out to $25 for 2 seats. This is clearly the best value and it's trustworthy. Got my print at home tickets in my email.

You should be okay with standing room only tickets. Unlike the regionals, a lot of season ticket holders won't show up for the midweek game and you will be able to sit almost anywhere in the bleachers.

It didn't work out for us too well the last time we went; until a deluge came and sent a lot of fans home. I would be very happy with a real seat!

Yea exactly… if you get standing room only tickets and expect to sit in empty seats…. don't be surprised when the LSU ticket nazis standing at the bottom of every section check your ticket and tell you to move. They are not friendly people, and certainly will not be friendly to people wearing red on that night. I'd much rather a real seat.

They certainly are not. I even remember the guy's name, Fred. What a fumble. We had some nice seats right above the away team dugout for the SHSU game. No one was in our section, so we skipped a seat between each of us to be more comfortable. Fred didn't let that ____ slide, not on Fred's watch.
