Not only does Alexandria suck, most people that live there are illiterate and don't know how to read anyway. There is no college in Alexandria, LA ST-A is in Lecompte and LA College is in Pineville (the literacy rate isn't any higher in those two towns either!). My sister lives there and cant wait till her kids graduate HS so she an get the hell out of there. Thankfully when my oldest neice graduates she will be attending UL majoring in architecture. The only smart thing she learned in Rapides is to get out for college and not go to BR!!!
Isn't it amazing how often we see this exact scenario. And not just with McNeese. Many, Many, Many alums from schools like LA Tech, ULM, Southern, Southeastern, Nicholls, and Norhtwestern all seem to be rabid LSU fans. Don't these people have any pride at all in their own universities?
Very nice article in The Gainesville Sun.
Gators fall in WCWS opener
OKLAHOMA CITY -- For the third time this season, unseeded Louisiana-Lafayette and No. 5 seed Texas A&M will play each other, this time at 6 p.m. in the winners bracket of the Women's College World Series.
The teams split two games earlier this season in the Aggie Classic in College Station, Texas. After losing 1-0 on March 7, the Ragin' Cajuns fought back for a 2-1 win the next day.

Scroll down, there are three articles this morning. FINALLY.
I sent them a nice letter thanking them for writing about us.
I also let them know that I am sure I am not the only alumni in the area and look forward to seeing more articles about UL.
Tried the posted link, but they moved the article. I found it here.
