If that were the case, it would explain the lack of interest from Garrido, Smith, Childress, and Graham. It is possible that he had his growth in strength (velocity) spurt the past year.

His Dad was obviously very comfortable with Tony and his system. He thinks he is the right guy to prepare his son for the next level. I think he made an excellent choice.

Reagan also played summer ball with the two Lake Travis pitchers in my neck of the woods ... that are also coming to UL next year. Reagan said that he was very excited to be here and loves it. Good kid and very supportive family. His sisters were also in attendance.

This actually makes a lot sense. Robe has been known to take care of his pitchers arms. I had a buddy when i was in school that walked-on and he was a 6'5 burner who raved about how coach was always careful with him. In the end, he never did play because of some arm problems, but he is still very complimentary of Coach.

Definitely looking forward to the development.

Not sure if it was his girlfriend or sister, but there was a girl in front of the right field bleachers on the rail taking photos and jumping up and down for joy after every pitch. I assumed it was his girlfriend and we had a few chuckles about her antics, but evidently he has a really supportive family. Glad to have him as a Ragin Cajun!

Well he did it again tonight I see. 2nd save and 1st pitch 99mph according to Jay. He'll continue to get better in that 9th inning role. What a ride we have to look forward to.

Just wondering if our catcher puts extra padding or padded under glove when catching Bazar?

I doubt it. May wear a glove out sooner.
