The University of Louisiana Softball team is headed to Oklahoma City for the Women’s College World Series. We have managed to put together a trip for those who would like to be there in person to cheer the Lady Cajuns on to victory. The arrangements are as follows: We have chartered a bus that is scheduled to leave from the Alumni Center at 7:00 tomorrow (5/28/08) morning. We have calculated a price for those who might be interested in taking the bus with other fans. The bus price will also include refreshments. The bus ticket price is $250.00 per person, payable to the Alumni Association. The return date and time of the bus are contingent upon the team’s performance. Also, the team is staying at the Sheraton Oklahoma City. We have reserved a block of rooms some of which have king-sized beds and others have two double beds. The price per room per night is $119.00 plus fees. For game tickets, you can pre-order them and pick them up at will call. You can purchase tickets by calling 1-800-364-7111 or visiting www.okcallsports.org. Tickets vary in price depending upon seating and whether an all-session pass is purchased. We encourage everyone to purchase whichever ticket package will best suit your needs. If you are interested in participating, please let us know by 3:30 p.m. TODAY. I hope they get the 50 fan's they need to move. That's $12,500.00 to charter a bus....Seem's a bit high to me. At least they could throw in the game tickets.
