Microsoft has partnered with Sony Pictures to showcase the future of search from Microsoft’s perspective in the Robocop movie. Sony Pictures asked Microsoft to come up with a concept for search in the not-too-distant future to showcase in the upcoming Robocop_film. The film is set in 2028 and Microsoft didn’t go too far like dreaming up holographic 3d search results, instead they focused on what is really possible in 2028 with search technology. Here’s a peak at what you will see in the movie, Building off the voice recognition work we have released for Bing on Xbox and Windows Phone, in this vision of search, a character can speak in natural language and instantly receive accurate and relevant results. We also needed to convey millions of results without overwhelming the display with a barrage of links.
