Rock and fire, Danny!! All my best to you!!!

I just saw that ESPN is reporting that Danny has been released by the Yankees today!
He was assigned to AAA last week. Had two appearances, gave up seven runs on six hits, including three homers, with two walks and four strikeouts.
Was hoping he'd shake off some of the early rust that he had at Spring Training with the extended ST. Hopefully someone gives him a chance

According to MLB Players Earn A Pension After Just 43 Days In The Majors, players must play 43 days in the majors to earn a minimum $34,000 annual pension plan. Just one day in the majors gets them lifetime healthcare coverage. After 10 years in the big leagues, benefits grow to $100,000 annually.
Danny has 8 years and 200+ appearances.
I was afraid of this after last week's appearances. Hopefully, he gets picked up. I'm just glad he is alive.
