And affter reading the Advertiser article buy the Advocate. You will see a front page spread in the Sports section about the Ladies' come through victory against UH. They do minimize the accomplishment a bit....it was against a CUSA team with no pitching depth, blah, blah, blah.

I should not be doing this. I should be, which I am, reveling in the accomplishments of the Lady Cajuns, and enjoying the moment for their sake!!

it was a great 2 days of softball. the ragin cajuns pounded 29 hits in 3 games off the all-american houston pitcher.

all 3 of the killer b's were working their collective magic.

this is a very special team with a bright future.

the BEST team in louisiana (haven't i mentioned that before) is now one of the last 8 in the country still playing softball.

What a great atmosphere in Houston... These ladies actually give me goosebumps... I had no doubt about the second game.... You could see it when they came back out on the field... I told my son.... we WILL win this game..

A special group of ladies that will only get better.... Dare I say, National Champs?? Why not... if not this year then in the next two.. But we WILL compete in OK City this next week... And if the breaks fall our way dont count them out... I'll say it again... a special group of young ladies....

Really good pitching in this series except for basically 2 or 3 innings. I hope they have picked up a few things in the post-season that they can take with them to OKC against the Gators and other teams. Best of luck to the Lady Cajuns! Go shock the world!!!

Check out today's Advocate article. Its a three page sprad in the on-line version. Note that on the last page they quote Coach Holas. I wonder was originally in the quote before the Advocate staff changed it to the "ull" in parenthesis?

Just keep winning Cajuns and give the Advocate staff a lot more UL and Louisiana victory stories to have to edit.

Nice, Awesome job, Ragin Cajun Softball Team! The cream of the crop in UL Athletics. You certainly make our Alumni Proud. It's a great feeling to have such fantastic young ladies represent us. Wow!

_ Enjoy the moment my man. Not many people thought this was the year with this young team. I thought they were a year away, but these kids really grew up fast! _

Oh, I am enjoying this moment, but I also expected us to be in the CWS once Donna B proved to be as good as she is. We can and I think will beat Florida in our first game and then we can show the rest of the country that we are the best team in the land.

I think the addition of Soto is the main reason why were are at the CWS. She has come through in just about every clutch situation this year and it rubs off onto the younger players. Our lineup is practically unstopable, but when an opposing pitcher does manage to slow us down we have the pitching capable to throw shutouts as well.

We may be the cinderalla but I think we are the deepest team in the CWS.
