With everything that is happening thus far today, there is some good news. FAU is up on Western Kentucky 5-3 in the bottom of the 6th. However, the Hilltoppers are threatening to tie the game with two runners on and no outs. They have plated all of their runs this inning. Bart Carter is now out of the game for WKU. Should there be another game, the Hilltoppers will throw Hightower tonight. The Hilltopper ace (Ridings) would likely be ready for some innings should they make the championship game tomorrow (as would likely Moody for the Cajuns). FAU is pitching thin right now.
The Cajuns still have plenty of pitching left. If Farquhar can regain his form, he will be tough. Robichaux will follow him. We have strong arms available today. I would assume that McGonigle (6.21) will throw for the Privateers. They do have Henderson (3.94) available for middle/late relief and O'Shea (3.63, 12 saves) to close. The Cajuns must bring the sticks and play defense today.
