What a difference an inning makes. Cajuns go out meekly in the 6th. Going to the 7th, Cajuns down 6-2.

We WERE swinging the bats OK until this inning. Naturally when we really needed the bats, they fell silent. I don't like the way this is headed. Not just this game but also how the "If Necessary" game is setting up. I think our confidence has to be shaken. The Lotiefs will have their hands full getting the team to re-focus with only a half-hour break between games.
Last chance for the Cajuns. Another grand slam would be nice, but we need some baserunners first. 9-1-2 hitters in the lineup coming up for the Cajuns.
First and third now, with two bunts to lead off the inning. It's not over yet.
Put your rally caps on
Smith scores on a deep fly to right, but Soto just missed a homer. Tankersley up but with only one runner on base.
Base hit for Tankersley. First and third with one out.
Verde coming up. They are going to put her on intentionally.
Potential winning run comes to the plate in the person of Bowers. Cajuns not going quietly.
Bowers ripped a ball to the 3rd baseman. Double play. Game over. That ball was headed into the left field corner. That play was huge. Bowers really hit that ball on the nose. That hurts.
