Looked like the ball hit hit hand then skimmed his face from where I was sitting. That was a scary moment, but Solich stayed in and shook it off. He could have easily tanked it after nearly getting his head taken off, then we would have went to our bullpen.

On the streaming video (poor quality) it looked like Solich was explaining to Robe that it hit him in the right shoulder/upper chest area. The way the ball bounced back toward the plate/third base line, it had to have hit him solid. He was so adrenaline pumped, he wasn't leaving the game.

They are really stepping up right now... this is fun!
