On a lighter note, where is Chris the Cotton Candy and Candy Apple guy that for years walked the stadiums of Louisiana sporting events? He was a nice guy would come sit in my box during baseball games and chew the fat and eat some bar-b-q down the third base line! I miss that guy, he was becoming an icon, sort of part of being at a Cajun event meant hearing Chris with his trade mark chant, "Yum Yum come get you some,Cotton Candy, Candy Apples!!

If it is the same cotton candy guy that I grew up with (which I am almost positive) the last time I saw him he was in a wheelchair and had lost a foot due to complications with diabetes (not 100 percent on the diabetes but I think that is correct). I think it was at a restaurant or a store. Despite his challenging condition, he had his usual joyous attitude and was still smiling ear to ear. He was always the hardest worker at all events and I got excited every time he would pass by.
