UL coach Tony Robichaux asked for a little consistency from his veterans going into the postseason.

The production came from all directions for the sixth-seeded Ragin' Cajuns in Wednesday's 6-1 win against No. 3 seed Troy in the opening round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament before 3,119 at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field.

Left-hander Hunter Moody pitched another gem with his first complete game of the year as the Cajuns (29-27) advanced to play No. 7 seed South Alabama at 4 p.m. today.

"It was a good team win," Moody said. "We got some big hits."

But Moody was easily the star of the night.
