Thread: Cajuns lose ace, Hamilton pitches like one

  1. UL Softball Re: Cajuns lose ace, Hamilton pitches like one

Apparently a 3:05 drop dead time to start a new inning is not really the drop dead time, as they took the field at 3:04 PM, and their coach said that is close enough.

Purdue stepped up on short notice with the caveat that no inning would start after 3:05. The 9th was ready to start at 3:03 and Purdue said they could not stick around, I do not think Mike was to happy.
Well, we should thank Purdue for filling in, (and for Drew Brees)

    Poo poo on N Iowa....

I didn't realize we tied!! I tuned the game off in the top of the 7 th when Lexie flew out. I guess "Don't let go of the rope" doesn't just apply to football.

This is an extremely young team that played 3 1/2 games without their ace...against a VERY strong Classics field and came out of it 2-2-1. And even in their losses against the 10th ranked team in he country, they were in it till the end. Next weekend will be exciting with Michigan and Memphis coming to town. I'll have to split time between Lamson and The Tigue.
