A Xavian Rimmer 3-pointer started the deciding run for the Cajuns. And a Xavian Rimmer 3-pointer with 10 seconds left in the game ended it as the Cajuns came back from as many as 14 points down in the 2nd half to defeat the Texas State Bobcats 67-66 on Saturday evening.
It was a 19-6 run that began with 5:43 left in the 2nd half and the Cajuns down 60-48; a run that included both of Rimmer’s 3-pointers, as well as numerous made free throws by Rimmer, Bryant Mbamalu and Elfrid Payton, who assisted on both of Rimmer’s 3-pointers during the deciding span.
