Lots of information regarding Windows 8.1 Update 1 started leaking on the web in the last few weeks. Wzor today posted new screenshots of Windows 8.1 Update 1 build 6.3.9600.16608.WINBLUES14_GDR_LEAN.140130- 2030. The new build still boots to desktop directly instead of Start screen in the case of PCs with no touch screens. I think Microsoft is trying to please mouse and keyboard desktop users with this move. Also, this build includes the Internet Explorer Enterprise mode which will allow organizations to run IE in older versions mode to have better compatibility with internal apps. Also, Neowin reported that the new title bar on the metro apps which includes close, minimize, maximize buttons might be transparent instead of black as in the previously leaked builds. Source: Wzor
