You've already decided this will not be a good year. You demand good numbers, and then when the coach is delivering, you still b**** and whine. And then when someone points out the progress being made (more wins, more butts in the seats), you stick with your Chicken Little routine, and call me "silly" for being "turned on" to being "average."
Apparently we've tasted some so-called success in other arenas, and so some fans expect overnight turnaround. Like I said, if you've already given up on this team, fine.
But I see more people in the stands than I have in a while. I have come to enjoy watching Louisiana Basketball (during the Lee era, it was miserable). I've spoken to plenty of folks who feel the same.
Like I said. I don't remember exactly what happened with Fletcher. But I seem to recall the level of play, the lack of offense, the devolution of Xs and Os, turned a lot of folks off. We saw a lot of that in the Lee era. I've seen significant improvement in this team, and despite your conclusions that this season is already over and we might as well pack it in and Marlin is not producing and why is it taking so long and are we there yet, etc.,......
.....This gd season ain't over yet. I refuse to give up like you apparently have.
But yes, if the sky is falling, Chicken Little, then start ponying up so we can afford to buy out the coaches you think are so horrible and get better ones.
I'm sorry, I don't mean to go on such a rant, but to dismiss a coach like you clearly are when things are actually going well.... Well, it makes me think I'm on Tigerdroppings.com or something.
