I was thinking about the city size, but also made me think about what percentage of the Lafayette students are in public/private schools. South Louisiana has always tended to have a good amount of Catholic or private schools.

Not a big stretch to see the similarities between this study and how the funding of higher education institutions is handled.

HUD math---lafayette 125K---parish used for the city interchangeably---AHHHHH lafayette has about 235K and is one of the fastest growing areas in the country!!!!! We will be at a quarter of a million pretty soon!!!
