Houston next for UL

BATON ROUGE - After losing to UL on Sunday, LSU coach Yvette Girouard wished her alma mater the best of luck next weekend against No. 8 national seed Houston in a best-of-three Super Regional series. But Girouard is torn when it comes to picking a winner. She coached UL co-coach Stefni Lotief and Houston coach Kyla Holas when she was with the Cajuns from 1981-2000. UL (49-12) went to Houston (53-9) on April 30 and split a doubleheader. After losing the opener 2-0, the Cajuns won the nightcap, 4-0. The results are somewhat misleading because the Cajuns played without Sun Belt Player of the Year Holly Tankersley, who had pneumonia at the time. Have they announced times for the games this weekend.

I originally predicted Cajuns take Game 1 and Game 3, but lose Game 2. I hope I am wrong and that the Cajuns take the first 2 games.
