Went with my uncle to the game today. Not great seats, but hey, I was there! Also, this was the LAST game to ever be played in Tiger Park!

    Post game celebration!

From the looks of it, you were sitting/standing next to us. Couldnt see home plate but at least there was shade. We could see all the "illegal pitches" though.

A couple of sinister yet familiar looking faces in those last two photos. Bet they were up to no good.

Thanks for the pics! I went to the UL-LSU basketball game a couple of years ago when Orien and Southall were playing and it was awesome to have so much vermillion in Baton Rouge. To see that much vermillion on the Tiger campus is a nice sight...

    Especially after a win!

I believe I see more red than purple. Can someone who was there let us know how it looked in the stands?

Saturday's game the crowd was 50/50
    Sunday's game UL had 75%.

I stood and watched the game with the the father of LSU's starting pitcher and he said this was the fewest LSU fans he has seen at a weekend game all year. Himself and many other LSU fans were very disappointed in their showing but was very impressed with the crowd UL brought. I would guess UL had at least 1000 fans today.

Post game Yvette commented on the UL fans in attendance Reading between the lines I think it was more of a shot at the LSU fans lack of support.

I totally agree that Yvette's Girouard's comments regarding the amount of cajun fans in attendance was directly related towards LSU fans. She even said it is possible Houston will not have much of a home field advantage in the Super Regional. She was calling the LSU fans out for not having her team's back. Personally, I think they were not expecting to win after Saturday and therefore did not attend yesterday.

    i would agree with that.

also, from the news, i didn't notice either coach say anything negative towards the other schools. i thought it showed class on both sides.

as i was at my own daughters softball tournament, i didn't get to see the game. but i was glad to read that jazz jackson was benched for what she did.
