"I knew (UL was) where I wanted to be the day I committed because there's no place like UL,'' Turner said. "My cousin Jamal Robinson is a receiver for the Cajuns. He talked about the Cajuns a lot. This is something I've dreamed about my entire life.

Just in case Corey Turner is checking out the RaginPagin and he should if he has a thick hide.

I think this was a great article on several fronts. First and foremost it introduced us to one of our outstanding recruits. I want to thank Mr. Strom for not using an editors pen on the words of Corey Turner. Corey used UL and only UL, it should never be bastardized.

His cousin Jamal Robinson help instill that love for this university for a long time. Thanks Jamal.

About scouting services and stars? I am sure they are fine, BUT we know Hud and staff created THREE big camps this summer. The camps were attended by hundreds and hundreds of college players trying to catch a coaches eyes.

The camps were in Shreveport, New Orleans (I attended that one), and of course at Louisiana here in Lafayette. In those camps the coaches measured every players height, weight, they can only grow taller, forty yard sprints, football IQ, demeanor, competitiveness, and athleticism. The coaches knows these players better than any ESPN, RIVAL, SCOUT, or any other service. I trust Hud and staff because they have done a great job for the past three years.

Thank you Corey Turner for becoming a UL Ragin'Cajun. Do your best, honor God, your family, and your school, good things will surely follow you. If you can't believe a guy on the internet, just ask Peanut Tillman NFL man of the year.

Both players in this interview seem to be of high character. Somebody at Miller-McCoy is doing a good job.
