The National Weather Service in Lake Charles will be issuing a winter weather advisory for Tyler, northernr Jasper, and northern Newton county in east Texas, and Vernon, Rapides, and Avoyelles Parish in central Louisiana for Thursday morning. Some elevated roads and bridges could have slick spots from frozen precipitation that falls Thursday morning.

Thursday morning will start off dry at 6 am, but by 9 am patchy precipitation will begin across the region. The precipitation will be over by 6 pm Thursday. Here is a breakdown by each region:
