I asked Hud about Granier during the season - his quote " Looks great - he's a monster !!" Also - Butler's dad and Darzil Washington's dad workout together back in Luling so I had a feeling he was headed back here.

    Butler connection to players :
    Trey Granier - cousin
    Eli McGuire - cousin
    D. Washington - old teammate/ dads are friends

Funny how having 1 player that loves to be here helped bring in 3 quality players

Gentlemen, take Coach at his word on this one.

I have heard he and BJ mention this numerous times over the last couple of weeks.

    Today was a good day.

Fuselier, Adkins, and Bossier may end up making more than a "solid" class at WR. They did not get more stars because two are JC guys and Fuselier committed to us early and did not consider anyone else. That limits his stars.

What I want to know is how many of those monster offensive linemen from summer select camp did we sign? That number will determine the level at which this team competes the next four years. Hudspeth's summer camp last season was as strong with offensive line talent as anyone in the country. You want to dominate in college football? You have to have the horses up front to bust holes for the best young RB in the country.

-----BWK--I know because of your son that you were really checking out the OLs at the Summer camp---I think that all of the OLs attended a UL camp at some venue----I remember your telling me at the UL casino party of the talent level you saw in those kids----You are correct again in your evaluation of the talent!!! So very impressed with the videos!!!!

Also, we are #2 in the belt, but with fewer signed than last year! We still have 3 we may sign, probably JC's, would bump us up some!
