"delta 1"
(big grins with that imagination)
Gee. According to YG, they gave us at least 3-4 runs. How nice of her to give back to the little people.
She also said....
Girouard said beating the Cajuns twice today will not be an easy task.
"They're a player on the national scene," she said. "They can compete in the SEC."

Compete in the SEC?????
We just demolished the #3 team in the SEC, I think we can do more then compete.
Granted Florida and Alabama are incredible, but to say we can "compete" is ridiculous.
Last time I checked, we did more than compete yesterday. In fact, you got me YG. Tell you what. The red team is willing to admit it. You gave us 4 runs. We'll call the final 5-4. Looks like we still win! Lucky for us huh? Player on the national scene? As long as we're playing in a super regional and the purple team isn't, your respect is neither coveted nor requested. Player on the national scene? Every time you open your mouth you condescend our program and give us more fuel. Great coaching. Good luck today purple team.

Lets not get to far ahead of ourselves on here just yet. We were the better baseball team in 01 or 02 cant remember the year but we had to lose 2 on sunday and we did just that. LSU is the luckiest school in the country so we will have to play better than we did yesterday. As long as we continue to hit the ball we will be ok.
Agreed. This is not going to be a cakewalk. The assinine State fans aside (and I'm sure we'll hear from them shortly), they are a good team that is tough at home. And when their backs are against the wall they know how to come out with an attitude and win. Our girls need to come out focused and playing at the top of their game.
Geaux Cajuns!
do better baseball teams lose doubleheaders 12-2, 12-2? i think that is what happened that day. 30 seconds on the site this a.m. and that gem was waiting for me.
but have little doubt, there will be no swept doubleheader by the lady tigers today--too little pitching, too good a team on the other side. cajuns win at houston as well, and off to Okla City.
