Thread: Cajun Baseball

Why was Jace thrown at last weekend? He didn't appear to "pimp" his home run the at bat before… Did he say something to the catcher when crossing the plate, or fielders when rounding the bases? Are we planning on riding Plitt as long as he can go, or will we have a pitching by committee approach for the game this evening?

No decisions to make when the ball leaves the yard. I trust that when the situation comes up that we need two healthy legs, Robe will make the change. His experience at the plate is too valuable to waste. If he can play on it, let him be.

he played some late at 3rd this weekend I believe. I never argued his value at the plate. it was just a question, I fractured my tibia from my ankle to my knee vertically, personally I would have been able to play the field before I would have felt comfortable running and sliding. If you are strong enough to push off to bat, strong enough to run the bases, good enough to slide i would think you are good enough to play the field. maybe its not as serious as they thought or it will just be sore here and there. They may just use him sparingly in the field.

I know Adam is out for the season and Powell and Davis have been playing a good bit and seem to be holding their own. What about the Clement kid. Any scope on him. He is from my area and set all kinds of offensive records a CHS NI. I saw him play a bunch in high school and he has sweet stroke, with plenty of pop. Defiantly has good wheels. His he hurt?
