Why use the term traitor, UL should have paid her what she was worth. I am sure it was hard for her to leave the team she built. But think about this, wouldn't you leave your current employer if someone else offered 2.5x -3.0x your current pay with the same job responsibilities?

_ This just me, but a traitor is one who pretends to be one of you while working behind the scenes/hidden to do you damage. In others words, a soldier who wears the same uniform as you shooting you to benefit the other army. A traitor is not one who leaves your side in plain view of all to cast their lot with another. imo

I haven't seen any evidence of Yvette or Robe being a "traitor" to any school employing them, but each to our own. _

Just picking nits, but I would use the term "spy" to desribe someone who fits your definition much like Skorzeny's troops during the Ardennes Offensive. A traitor is one of your own who for some reason, usually either idiology or financial gain, turns on you and joins the other side such as Benedict Arnold during the Revolutionary War.

Benedict Arnold...now here's a situation where Foote could really his favorite term. I wonder if he will refer to Yvette that way?

I wish you were around when I left my ex wife for a younger girl. She thought my confession of love was above the looks of an attractive younger girl (serious assets, if you know what I mean). I not only knabbed me a little babe, but I took the kids and left the old hag without a dime. Needless to say, the old hag doesn't think kindly of me now. She had the nerve to remove a plaque she gave me that said "to my wonderful, loyal husband". I thought that was so tacky. I was loyal and wonderful up to the point I shafted her old butt. What's wrong with her? Yes, I told her I loved her, and even passed on opportunities to hook up with younger, prettier girls in the past... but I couldn't pass it up that last time. I'm a good dude and certainly not a "traitor". Well, in truth, my ex wife was there for me and with me in my weakest years, but once my career took off, I just couldn't turn down all that young tang that was coming my way.

Could you write to my ex and explain to her that everyone leaves what they claim to love when money or hot sex is made available? <----- this is not a true story... but I think you can figure out the analogy.

I think both our baseball and softball teams would do fine without ever having to play them and get into all this stuff each time. I was SO happy for the few years that we did not play in baseball. I am currently glad that we don't play in softball and hope that continues!! _

quite understandable opinion in light of a 3-13 record in softball, and the knowledge you've never come out of a regional that lsu was also in. i feel your pain.

You selectively target only UL people (of which your daughter is one) and think hard about questions and challenges to UL only. It is always a jab at UL, never any acknowledgement that isn't something ladened with ridicule and never add anything that is not pro-LSU. below is my recent softball post; lots of ul ridicule, lots of pro-lsu, tons of jabs and challenges at ul.... ironic you used "pathetic" in your post--the exact adjective i had in mind for you; the noun i was thinking was "moron."

28 on act. the schools she listed on the app were tulane, lsu and ul. the test score document indicated that, with her number, she'd be in the top 40%of applicants to Tulane [pay the fee, get your B], top 30% at lsu, and, as i recall, top 10% at ul [her documents aren't here, i'm going by memory--called her, but no answer on the cell. i guess that would have something to do witht he 'less tough' to get in part]. went first year to lsu, dad's alma mater. got homesick. asked if it would be ok to come home and go to ul. no problem with me, as i was having the empty nest thing bad. she likes it at ul, liked it at lsu, but likes best of all being home. as to the earlier post, i'll have to ask her about her "allegiance." thanks to everybody for caring.

_ You guys are much more than simply "competive" in softball and you are a player on the national scene. I think most reasonable LSU fans have no problem seeing that as a fact.

As to the "traitor" thing, why is it ok for a coach to move from the Cowboys to the Cajuns without having a negative label affixed to their back but not ok to move from the Cajuns to the Tigers?
