Lady Cajuns headed to Tiger Town for regional as UL earns No. 2 seed in Baton Rouge Regional
Vanessa Soto experienced the UL-LSU softball rivalry from the Tiger perspective two years when the teams played each other in the Baton Rouge Regional.
Now there's a chance she will get to see it from the other side.
One day after winning their eighth Sun Belt Conference Tournament in nine years, the Ragin' Cajuns earned the No. 2 seed in the four-team Baton Rouge Regional, which runs Friday through Sunday. The 16th-ranked Cajuns (46-12) will play No. 3 seed East Carolina (36-28) in the first round of the double-elimination tournament at 4 p.m. Friday at Tiger Park.
