Looks like game 1 will be an upset as ULM defeats FAU 5-4.

In a major upset in Game 1, ULM (the #7 seed) upset FAU (the #1 seed) 5-4.

This does not bode well for the conference in possibly getting an at large team in, since FAU was the top candidate for that position. But it does bode well for the Cajuns who may have an easier run to the championship with FAU falling to the losers bracket.

Next up are the #4 and #5 seeds, as Middle Tennessee and FIU tangle in Troy, Al for a shot at the winner of the Cajuns and WKU!!!

FAU is the #2 seed. Probably just a typomografical error.

Fat fingers typed 1 instead of 2. Again, what I meant was that the #2 seed fell to the #7 seed in the first game of the tournament.

Currently

#4 FIU is Leading
#5 MT

3-2 in the top of the 6th, but MT is threatening. If UL wins, then we will play the winner of this game.

So far winners brackets teams are ULM and FIU, while in the losers bracket are MT and FAU.

Next up is #3 Troy vs #6 North Texas
This game should start in roughly 45 minutes, followed by the last game of the day:

both the first and the second games were both 1 run games. Hopefully the Cajuns make theirs allot easier tonight.

Another upset in the making, North Texas the #6 seed is leading Troy the #3 seed 2-0 in the bottom of the 3rd inning.

Looks like the #2 and #3 seeds could both have to come out of the losers bracket, to make the finals.

Looks like Troy averted the upset with 2 in the 7th for a 4-3 win. Hopefully the Cajuns aren't in that dramatic a game tonight....gonna have to follow on igeaux after the first half hour so please keep me posted.
