Lady Cajuns win 8-0, scoring 4 in the bottom of the 6th.

_ In a major upset in Game 1, ULM (the #7 seed) upset FAU (the #1 seed) 5-4.

This does not bode well for the conference in possibly getting an at large team in, since FAU was the top candidate for that position. But it does bode well for the Cajuns who may have an easier run to the championship with FAU falling to the losers bracket. _

The Owls have defiinitely got their work cut out for them. They now have to beat UNT, then the Monroe-Troy victim, then double dip Troy or Monroe to get to the championship game, hopefully/probably against the Cajuns. I doubt they will be considered for an at large now, rpi is too poor, they are not on a hot streak, and they don't have any really impressive wins on their resume. Looks like the Sun Belt's a one bid conference this year.

Doesn't seem to matter, looks like FAU is going home 2 and BBQ. They are losing 3-0 to North Texas in the top of the 6th inning.

Would have liked to get a possible bump in RPI by beating FAU again, but that is not going to be the case.

Troy is the highest rated RPI that will be left in the tournament.

Either the #5 Seed (MT) or the #8 Seed (WKU) will be going home next.
