Thread: Women Fall in Close Game to WKU, 68-63

  1. Ragin' Cajuns Women Fall in Close Game to WKU, 68-63

Sylvana Okde scored a team-high 16 points to register her six double-digit performance in the past seven games, but it was not enough as the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns dropped a tough 68-63 decision to WKU in a Sun Belt Conference game Saturday at the Cajundome.

If that picture is from yesterday, they need to play in EKL, where the game can have an atmosphere and the Ladies can have a home court advantage.

Brodhead making quicker advances with a program that was further down than their men counterparts. We need a coach like Brodhead for the mens team. Going into year five, half a decade, and still playing like a guy in his second season of the rebuild.

Clearly Coach Brodhead thinks playing in the dome is better for the program than the depression era EKL physical education building.

I agree, looking better. I wish more people would stay to watch. The team hustles their buts off.

They do not need to be playing in EKL. It is a dump (I know, it is a historical dump ) and the players deserve better. Crowd or not, the Cajun Dome is a much better venue and I am glad they have moved the games.
