We outsourced it to a company in Dallas. They send out reps to RCAF donors. We have no "in house" marketing. Coach Hud unfortunately wears that hat alone.

Yes it does. Studies have shown that if we recruit a MS player... we get an additional 1.5 additional fans at home games. With Lafayette recruits, we gain an average of 6.5 additional fans at home games. If we could average 5 more Lafayette versus Mississippi recruits, we could pick up an additional 25 fans. I think those additional fans would be worth the potential difference in talent the coaches have identified in those respective recruits. That would also be enough additional fans (25) to justify our seating expansion, make Boomer and Jay Walker converge on an agreeable number of empty seats per home game, and pretty much satisfy all other football based endeavors. Or maybe not...

Sign the BEST players possible...then WIN! THAT will increase your crowds.
Dang Red, I thought studies showed it was just 5 players per recruit difference. You estimate 7. That's even better. We should go "all Lafayette" and fill up an entire row in Cajun Field.
