On another note that has nothing to do with the out come of the game, but how does their assistant coach come down and try to fight our coach and get booted from the game. He was having to be physically restrained.

I don't agree that phantom calls and momentum killing call have nothing to do with the outcome of the game.

In my opinion that is the sports equivalent of "politically correct" speak.

You are right of course, and I couldn't prove it if it did.

I hate the momentum killing calls, those are the ones I have some doubt about.

From what I saw, but probably not the whole story. We were about to steal the ball when WKU's coach ran on to the court and called a time out. At that point Coach Marlin was calling for a tech on WKU's coach for going on the court. Not sure what exactly was said. Then their punk assistant starts going after Marlin. Again was not near the bench to tell you word for word, but that is what I saw.

Had to have something to do with the TO called by the WKU coach during the fullcourt press. Because we were about to get another turnover, and would've possibly scored, when the whistle blew.

Right, but complaining about that wouldn't normally cause the WKU coach to go nuts, or Marlin to go nuts on the WKU coach, would it?

I don't think Marlin "kindly" asked him to get off of our court.

WKY coach was on the floor all night. The black ref. was telling him to get back past the line and off the court several times. But that didn't help. The ball was stolen when the time out was called......that was when Marlin came unglued. We had a three on one break.....

Well the coach ran way, WAY onto the court to call the timeout. I think that also set Marlin off.

Not to mention that there was some debate as to whether WKU had possession when the TO was called because I seem to remember the ball being in the air and about to be stolen when the whistle blew. I have the game DVRed so I may rewatch to see what actually happened.

From what I saw...wku coach either said something or made a gesture to marlin as marlin was telling the ref something about the timeout. Marlin was approaching the ref making his case and he was turning to go back towards our bench when he abruptly turned toward wku coach. So something he heard or saw set him off.
