With three games left in the regular season for UL's softball team, the Ragin' Cajuns sit on the verge of perfection.

A season that already features a top 25 national ranking and a Sun Belt regular-season title will include a perfect record at home with a sweep of this weekend's three-game conference series against UL Monroe (18-34, 8-13).

But more importantly, 16th-ranked UL (40-11, 17-2) will honor seniors Holly Tankersley, Brooke Brodhead and Vanessa Soto during its Senior Weekend at Lamson Park. The series starts with a doubleheader at 1 p.m. today with the second game airing on KLAF for the Cajuns, who are 20-0 at home this year.

"The determining factor to me is whether your players make an impact on the program and your program makes an impact on them," said UL's Michael Lotief, who co-coaches the team with wife Stefni. "The answer to both of those questions with these three is a resounding yes."
