Deano's hasn't "moved" yet. They are shut down with plans on an alternate location. But, there is no way a Deano's at any location in south Louisiana should fail. Deano's should have shut down all but Deangelos. There is stiff competition in BR in the food business, but the bulk of BR folks aren't Deano's people. You can probably open a Picadilly just about anywhere in the BR city limits and flourish, however. Walkons pulls a vacuum. Chimes takes my vote in BR and for the proposed question.

Fyi-Only reason I mentioned Walkons was not for food or service (both are subpar) but for convenience. Location is closest to the Box.

Chimes has got two things that put it heads and shoulders above any thing else:

1) Extensive draft beer selection

and

2) cheese fries (make sure you get them with gravy!!!)

Agree. The Chimes has good food and a tremendous selection of beer. It is right at the "gates of LSU" on Highland Road. There are a couple of other eateries in that little area near the Chimes.

I have a question. Does anyone know if we will be able to watch the online video of the UL@LSU bb game on April 29? I thought all the schools that use the XOS/JumpTV technologies were supposed to be sharing video feeds? We sure haven't been seeing many of the road games this year...and, LSU does use this same service that we do.

Anyone know?

So I guess, I'm not watching the game on Tuesday... Just have to listen to it on my phone.

Man, you remember that place? When I was a freshman at LSU, I lived in Kirby-Smith and used to walk over there. Best dogs I could walk to!

Been real busy! Is the LSU game Tuesday? If so will it be on TV as I do not have the time to get down there and watch it in person. Is a question as to what UL team will show up for this game. Will the hitters be there, how about the midweek pitching and will we wear boots or balet slippers(grace)?

Hopefully the team expected to play for UL will show up this season will get in early Tuesday and be with us from here on out!
