Wow. You cannot just assume that the errors might not have happened. The call (whether right or wrong) had no influence over the two plays that led to the errors. Let's just assume then that the next batter hits a home run -- the logic here being that anything can happen. You can't possibly be serious.
This was a great game. Both clubs were in it until the final out. You want to blame the umps, fine. UL had chances to score in the last three innings and didn't make the plays. Both Bradshaw for LSU and Glass for UL were throwing some nasty stuff -- I'm not surprised that no one scored after the 5th inning. Bottom line, you can blame this loss on missed opportunities.
BTW -- I am an LSU alum. What exactly did we do to win last night?
