Thread: UL Game Played Clean . . . Umpires

  1. Default Re: Umpires @ LSU game...

Why don't you stop crying and maybe look at the 3 errors that yall had. Oh wait, that had nothing to do with the game correct. Point is we didn't just straight up beat yall, UL shot themselves in the foot not once, not twice, but three times. Stop crying about it and take like a man!!!!!! And as far as the known where our bread is buttered, i guess you didn't look out at right field our at the flags in center field. So SHUT THE HELL UP!!!!!!!!! On a lighter note, I really enjoyed last night and you guys were a pleasure to hang with, no reason why this should not be a weekend series with switching sites each year. Good luck the rest of the year!!!

If a foul ball would have been called, those 2, yes 2 errors might not have happened there punchy. I had no idea you guys have umps on the payroll. Good for you. Circumvent that whole competition thing. Way to go! As for the bread being buttered, youre gonna have to elaborate. You are an LSU fan, so let me dumb it down for you. You guys know what you did to win last night. Does that make it clearer for ya? I am taking it like a man BTW, a man doesnt just lay down and let some bloated purple sham walk all over them. As for the weekend series look to LSU for the reason it doesnt happen. Here is a question for ya buddy, are you an LSU alum?

If you at all understood the rules, you wouldn't have typed that. Go back and watch it on DVR, you can see all the replays you want. The base determines whether or not it's foul, not the foul line you're trying to argue about. The ball passed over the corner of the base. The umpire was 6 feet away straddling the line watching it.

I'm an LSU alumni and a Loyola Law Alumni. Does that in any way make me biased as to finding it hillarious that you're trying to blame this game on umpires or allege LSU has umpires on the payroll? Time to take off the tinfoil hat and just accept that LSU played a much better and much more consistent game. No one is asking you to lay down, they're asking you to stop wining and making up unsupported, unsubstantiated excuses for your loss.

Congrats you passed the Rorschac test. I saw it, it was foul and it hit before the base and it was plain as day. You know what happened. By the way are you an LSU alum? You answered my question tLSU. Thanks.

Wow. You cannot just assume that the errors might not have happened. The call (whether right or wrong) had no influence over the two plays that led to the errors. Let's just assume then that the next batter hits a home run -- the logic here being that anything can happen. You can't possibly be serious.

This was a great game. Both clubs were in it until the final out. You want to blame the umps, fine. UL had chances to score in the last three innings and didn't make the plays. Both Bradshaw for LSU and Glass for UL were throwing some nasty stuff -- I'm not surprised that no one scored after the 5th inning. Bottom line, you can blame this loss on missed opportunities.

BTW -- I am an LSU alum. What exactly did we do to win last night?

Are you saying it hit the ground foul BEFORE the base?

Yep it sure did. Thats why Tony came out and was pointing at the ground were the ball made a mark. Rewatch it as many times as you want but what happened was a foul ball.

Cover2 thats exactly my point. If the right call was made, it might have changed or not changed the outcome of the whole game. But you have to admit it swung it in LSU's favor for sure. God knows what would have happend. But the reality is they blew that call at multiple levels. And the alum question is just to gauge what kind of lsu fans im dealing with, educated or uneducated.

Okay, well that says all we need to know about you. I'm watching the replay right now, the ball wasn't even close to the line when it intially landed....not even close. Coach Robichaux was not arguing that....in fact, no one except you is arguing that. The question was where it crossed the bag....and I will respect any argument on either side of that because it was very close. But what you're saying....well, it's official, you're lost.

The only replay I saw showed the ball clearing hitting before foul before the bag. I didnt DVR it but man I know what I saw. Im only going by what I saw tlsu. So what was Coach arguing about, Reaganomics?
