Midwest-CBK is recalling 1,900 baby rattles over the risk of the head of the toy detaching and becoming a choking risk.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Wednesday that the recall involves doughnut-shaped polyester knit fabric baby rattles with heads and arms built to resemble a bear, monkey and a lion. The names Sweet-ums and Midwest-CBK are printed on a hang tag on the rattles.
The rattles were sold at small gift stores from July through December for about $10.
