The Acadiana Symphony Orchestra and UL College of the Arts will present the opera Carmen at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Saturday at Angelle Hall.

With Metropolitan Opera mezzo-soprano Edyta Kulczak in the title role, the production will showcase professional singers in the leading roles, and UL students in other roles.

Tickets are available at www.acadianasymphony.org, by calling 232-4277 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or at the ASO Office at 412 Travis in the Oil Center. Tickets will also be sold at door. Prices range from $15 to $45.
