is there a reason why they have games are so early in the afternoon? I could understand to have an early one if it was the last game in the series, but why have the first two games start at 2 instead of 5? Usually i would attend the games but i do not get off work until 530. Just curious.

Well, it sure helped in this case with the rain delay and all. They didn't finish the second game until about 8:30 this evening.

I heard on the radio today that NT requested to have the games start early in the afternoon. Maybe so they dont get back so late tomorrow night.

UNT adjusted their schedule to allow us to play US Olympic team on Saturday. They requested that the games be played in the afternoon. Pretty easy to accept their request when they change their schedule for us.

I had heard tha she had a blister develop on her pitching finger/hand. We only played 2 games yesterday and she is our 3rd best pitcher this year, maybe she pitches tommorow if the finger is healed.

I had heard the same blister story, but it soundedas though all three had blisters to some degree on their pitching hand. Perhaps Cuevas' problem was a little worse. Hope that is the only problem. We will need her for tournament play and beyond.

We definitely need Cuevas in postseason if we expect to go far, hopefully shes back soon.

Charlie, She warmed up prior to game 2 last night. I hope they pitch her today. Her mom and dad were there last night.
