Williams still has some work in the class room to take care of, if he becomes eligible this year I can easily see him playing early at the WR position because of his physical stature and skill set. I do not see him playing early as a safety because he needs time to learn to read defenses and tackling. He struggled at times playing safety because he often would get caught looking in the backfield or be out of place on the field. He was later moved to CB which he played well at, but is much easier to play in HS. I don't think he is fast enough and will fill out too much to play CB in college. He has the body, strength, and athletism to become a great safety down the road. Personally I would like him to get a shot at WR first.
Let's not forget that technically the LB transfer from LSU "Trey" is part of this class. Our LB's are really starting to look good!!
