Louisiana.Scout has no "Rivals"
First time poster on this board. I've been reading this thread and very curious about recruiting. Since the DA have broken the story about TJ Posey does anyone know if he's really enrolled in school and attending classes at Louisiana.
This is for Boomer....Posey in my opinion is every bit as good as Walton.
Well I agree that nobody is an average, or a median player, coaches jobs are to make those evaluations.
There is probably good justification that maybe Mississippi is not as deep as it normally is. Louisiana is very deep on the top side this year. That does not mean players not being four and five stars are better than or worse than normal in the count.
These articles usually refer to elite players, and those just below elite. I would not be too concerned about the rightness or wrongness of this writers view.
We shall agree to disagree.
I love to follow recruiting, as well as dissecting film of individual recruits. And after doing so for many years, I can tell you that it's nothing but a "crap shoot" until three or four years are done.
Anyone who claims he/she can accurately discern how good or bad a 17 or 18-year old will be before the youngsters complete three or four years against top flight college competition physically, mentally and emotionally is at best, prophetic, or at worst, a damn fool.
