On Saturday, April 5, senior left-handed pitcher Hunter Moody became the winningest pitcher in Ragin' Cajuns baseball history, earning his 27th career victory in a 4-2 triumph at Middle Tennessee. Moody's 27 wins rank seventh all-time in Sun Belt Conference history.

"I think it’s a pretty good accomplish. It's an honor to be recognized with some of the top pitchers that have played here and have gone on to better things. As hard as I work, I couldn't have done it without my teammates behind me.
Q: What were you feeling when you stepped onto the mound Saturday?
A: I would have loved to have set the record at home, but I tried to block it out as best as I could. Saturday, I was just trying to pitch as well as I could since we lost the first game of the doubleheader.
Q: You guys have won eight of your 11 games. What are you and your teammates focusing on for the rest of the season?
A: We need to try to win every series from here on out. All we can do is try to win every series in league play and prepare to host the Sun Belt Conference Championship in May.
