Students get their parking garage ... Monday

Looking for a parking spot on UL's campus? The answer to that question is usually laughable. But starting at 6 a.m. Monday, 400 spots will be available in the university's first parking garage on the corner of St. Mary and Taft streets. The $6 million project has been under construction for the past two years after delays, including a redesign because of rising construction costs. Yeah, too bad they had to ELIMINATE THE MARCHING BAND'S PRACTICE FIELD TO DO IT!!!!

NO, actually the field is on the side of it. they turned it 90 degrees and actually improved it a little bit. they only have 20 to 20 but as you well know, that's really all you need.
The real issue is that the new garage will close at 6 or 7 and if you're still in there you get locked in. Again, a good idea gets screwed up by the good ol' boys

I heard about that, but is it WIDE enough for them to put the entire show on there?? As for the time issue, I think most students who would be using that garage would be finished with class well before 6pm.
