Trivia: Blue Gray Bowl Cajuns in the Pros

Recently 2 University of Louisiana players turned heads in the Hula Bowl. This post is not about the Hula bowl, rather the Blue Gray Bowl.

The Blue Gray Bowl began in 1938, and in the years since, the players below represented Louisiana in the Blue-Gray Bowl these respective years.

1947- Ted Andrus
1979- John Roveto
1988- Chris Gannon
1990- Clifford Champ
1990- Todd Scott
1992- James Atkins
1994- Orlando Thomas
1998- Brandon Stokley

Trivia how many of these UL representatives made it to the NFL?

Sorry, meant all of them plus other U(S)L players who went to the pros such as Mitchell and Septien.

He may have, but the official Blue-Gray Bowl listing has him on the team.

Perhaps that is why they spelled his name Orlanda.

He told the SID, Media Relations, everyone that his name was Orlanda... That's how it was listed in everything the university published...

I've looked at his drivers' license, he wanted to prove to me that his name was really Orlando. It was a really strange situation.
