Rain this morning (Saturday) so no work today.

Lots of Geotextile and drainage pipe stockpiled at the gate. A very good thing because it means they are going to start putting things IN very soon. After putting the field to grade, they will place a geotextile over the entire field.

Is that a Jon Van Cleave jersey someone is burying at the 50 yard line?

    Not funny....

Now what we should do is bury the jerseys of Jake Delhomme, Brandon Stokley, Brian Mitchell, and Orlando Thomas to bring some good karma.

Talked to Scott Forman today at the Diamond Club luncheon and he said that they will be ready, weather permitting, to lay down the fabric linning sometime next week. They still have some grading to do and tie in to the drainage. They checked the existing dainage and it is in good shape. Things are on schedule. I will take pictures of them laying down the linner. Laying down the turf will not take long. The thing that takes the longest is sewing the components together. When they start with the turf things will go faster. He also said it should be finish by July one.........that's seven week......

Here's pictures of the drainage work being done. The grading should be through in about a week than they will lay the underlayment fabric......

    Frenchie you are my hero.

I really like the one that shows how high the mid field hump really was.

    Thanks

We could host a motocross event or two to raise some dough before they get the carpet down.

Looks like sort of new vehicle is in the Swamp this morning. Seems like some sort of vacuum truck or something.

What you have there, sir, is a truck with a lot of piping to lay down.
