The field looks great, but look at the upper endzones. That really detracts from the field. I don't know why they didn't put some artificial turf up there too. I suspect it will continue to be an eyesore and a maintenance problem all year. I hope I am wrong.

Are you in the landscaping business? J/K Look we have bigger problems than what the grass looks like. We have to overcome the perception the last administration left behind. That will be much harder and much more importent to do that fixing the ugly fence and terrible hedges.

Have been able to make it to the field in person? I went this weekend and let me tell you if we play early games and the sun is not down I will be wearing sunglasses. The field pops out at you, it deffinately has a wow factor. Absolutely amaizing, the pictures that are posted on here do this field no justice. No offense to the pictures but its something you must see in person to really appreciate how nice it is. Now they just need to brick the black wall and install a wraught iorn fence around the perimeter where the current hurricane fence is now and all will be good.

WOW! is the most appropriate word to use when you see the field for the first time in person. according to scott farmer, the black wall will be covered by a veneer? covering, with cajun logos all around, and two corporate sponsors' logos in the corners near the endzones. i think i have that right. somebody check me out on this.

I agree that pictures don't take the place of the real thing, but for the one's that can't see the field in person because of living out of town, state or country it's the next best thing. And you have to agree they were better than the still camera shots that was set up at the field.

I don't know if anyone noticed but the hurricane fence around the perimeter of Cajun Field is being painted Black. I hate the damn Hurricane fence but it does look better black. That is until that paint starts to fade and crack, but it looks better than it did now.

Thats the best they could do. After the last A, the wall sticks out and that affected it from being centered. I have no idea why it sticks out, Im thinking its a suite or something.

    It was centered.

It looks like they are about to repair it as the area below the pressbox has been sectioned off.
