Isn't there a marching band function going on at the stadium in the next week or so? If so, will they start cleaning the stadium before or after the event? _

Go to post 572 and you will see a slide show I posted showing the completed job except for the padding around the goal post. Of course this was taken after the 7 on 7 passing competition so you can see a lot of litter on the side lines.......

Why are we still using white goal posts? I thought nearly everyone had the neon yellow ones. Just curious.

Any chance of getting pictures now that it is all completed? I would like to see what a finished product looks like. It doesn't look like UL is in any hurry to provide an update on their site.

I ask the same question about the white GP. I though they would paint them yellow. I was told that the white is baked on. Of course I told them they could bake yellow also. Now they want paint them because they will have to paint them when they peel. Paint it once a year which would take about 30 mins/post spraying.....big deal....

Maybe on a bitter cold Wednesday night in December, we can beat MT thus allowing us to win the conference championship....."thusser" allowing us to go to the N.O. Bowl....
The students rush the field, tearing down the white goal posts. We have to purchase new goal posts for the 09 season...

Theres a good idea. Plus Lafayette is way over due for having goal post carried through out the town.

UL has now taken the picture of the new turf off of its website. When you click on Facilities, it does not show a picture of the new turf but has an interesting picture of Cajun Field over a swamp. I still have not seen final pictures of turf with the goal posts up and installation complete. Is there any place to get those? Can someone post them?

Hi everyone.....I think the new field looks great. KP and I stood on the field Tuesday night while I was in town looking for homes in Houston. It was really a thrill. He showed me the new weight room. Everything is falling into place. One thing I did notice was that huge crack in the cement above the press box. Was that there last year..it looks dangerous.
