Fielding the NEW Swamp

I knew a contractor that NEVER started a job on Friday because he thought it was bad luck. He would always make an effort to move a backhoe or dozer on the job on Thursday and turn just one shovel of dirt, even if it was after dark. In his mind he "started" on Thursday and not Friday. I wonder if they turned some dirt yesterday at the stadium?

If you look back a few posts, there were some auto's and maybe other machinery placed on the field yesterday, not sure if they actually did anything though.

Those two little bobcats are working their tails off today. Looks like they'll have those two big piles of old turf off the field this afternoon.

Just wait to you get to this stage. Damn, the turf is beautiful. The first picture was a little overexposed so I'm posting a second one to show just how green it looks. Our Spring Game is Thursday afternoon/night on the new turf.
