Scoreboard video and audio were among the items Scott Farmer listed as being studied. However, he cautioned that this improvement would come some time down the road and probably not immediately.

Agreed. A scoreboard that doesn't crap out in the middle of games with a bigger screen. And something nice to replace the non-working scoreboard would be a step in the right direction. I'm not sure if bleachers would be the best bet at this moment since we can not fill the stands we have now. And I am not the biggest drumline/ drummer show fan in the world but I am def. going this year just to get a look at the field.

I don't know what Rebel was talking about, and at this point I don't care. I just can't WAIT to see this new field on July 16th!!!

I ordered my DCI tickets in May but have not received them yet. Did you get yours?

I have heard that the black field wall is suppose to have murals painted on it. I do not know for sure if that rumor is true.

I ordered mine in May as well and they just came in today. So, no need to panic yet!

yeah dci will be pretty sweet, my best friend acctually made it on the Crown group and will be performing as a mellophone, we just graduated high school, so that shows you how young he is, considering everyone else is usually in their early 20s to mid 20s, he was the youngest person to make any team i believe

DCI has an age limit of 21. There are "senior" corps for people older that want to do it still but have aged out of the main DCI circuit. That said, Carolina Crown is a really good group. The show on 7/16 is going to be a solid program with four of the "upper-tier" corps in DCI, and will be a fitting way to christen the turf. Hopefully we get a good crowd!

It's too bad they can't have the dci at a cooler time of the year. those poor kids must suffer in that heat not to mention sitting on cement stands. it's really miserably hot.. jmo..
