I sure hope that they straighten the numbers on the yard lines. It looks like someone had one too many when applying them.

You will have to live with the black...I like It. Here are a view slide show shot's...Might go tonight on the field and see them install the numbers.

Thanks for the pictures frenchie, do you know how well they are going to be able to smooth out the wrinkles/lumps in the turf?

Just depends on what was chosen, i dont know that there is a particular font that must be used. it will look just fine

bottom line... our field will look much better than mcneese's

I will be going tonight and ask that question. They do have a brand new machine with a brush on it. It might be for that purpose. But I do know that the wrinkles/lumps will be taken out. Howand when that's the question. They will have to take them out before the put they numbers and hash mark on because if they pull from the edge to get the wrinkles out it will cause the lines and number to be misaligned....you can be sure this is all thought out.

I really dislike the Boise state colored field. I, also, dislike the NCAA. What gives them the right to determine what color athletic field a school may have. Sooner or later they will be the final authority on how an athletic facility is to look. They put pressure on the CWS folks in Omaha to build another facility so that their coffers, and those of the BCS, can continue to overflow.

Wouldn't a green artificial turf also fall under the category of colored? Perhaps we should put down a white turf just to mess with the NCAA big wigs.
