Looks like they are placing the last bit of perimeter concrete apron this morning (6/7) at the tunnel. Being that they have to bring everything in through the tunnel, they probably will not work for a few days to give that portion some time to cure.

Great photos. Appears to be alot of activity. With them working on the "Game Field" and the outdoor practice fields it is going to be a challange for the coaches and players only having the indoor facility available for practice. Any word on when they will have the practice fields back up and running? I know the playeres (most of them) come back on June 9th (Monday) to begin the summer workouts and such. Hoping that all this field work doesn't take away from practice time/areas.
Any word from inside on how the Coaches are going to handle this?
The coaches shouldn't have any problems at all since they aren't supposed to really have much contact with the players at all until official NCAA practice season opens. But i'm sure if any of the players want to practice on their own, they can use the indoor facility or the area to the east of the indoor facility. That field is still in good condition.
Typically this time of year most of the concrete providers use a 10% fly ash/ 90% Type II or Type III portland cement mixture because the fly ash acts as a set retarder. It also results in a little slower strength gain. If they put some calcium chloride (or some other early strength admixture) in the mix it should be OK to travel over in about 2 days. I would hope they sprayed a curing compound over it given the heat and wind we have been having.
The coaches don't have practices with the players until the end of summer. During the summer the trainers work with the players. They are lifting and running so I am sure they can do that in the indoor arena area and outside practice areas. Many are all ready back working out for the summer.
